Due to the increasing demand for automated robotic systems, Labman is looking to hire an enthusiastic, self-motivated and professional Electro-Software Robotics Engineer to develop prototype projects and bring these to life and into working projects. This role will be based in and around the Bracknell & Windsor area however, the initial 6-12 months will be based at our HQ in North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will support an existing team and will be working within various engineering roles so will need to be adaptable. We’re looking for an enthusiastic engineer with a basic working knowledge of mechanical skills but who specializes in electronics and / or software
What the Job Involves:
Labman creates systems that are both advanced in their technology, as well as being used in R&D facilities across the world, some of whose research is at the forefront of science and innovation. As a result, you will be working directly with some of today’s most advanced hardware and software, providing opportunities to learn and develop your skillset in areas that have potentially never been investigated before with some of the world’s largest companies. Although this role is mainly based in Bracknell there may be opportunities to travel, both within the UK as well as worldwide. This offers you the chance to form networks and build on great relationships with a large number of clients from different industries.
You will be supported by a large, dedicated team of engineers from Labman’s rapidly expanding HQ in North Yorkshire, UK. It is a creative and innovative environment, full of the latest robotic systems and technology, as well as climbing walls, gym, go-karts and even a squash court. You’ll have many opportunities to work from the HQ, and thus enjoy the breath-taking East Coast and North York Moors.
